The pasture page is getting an update - your ideas wanted

I know layout changes can cause stress and upset to some folks so I am giving people a heads up now that this is coming.
I willing be working on an update to the pasture page in the next week or two to make it easier to use, require less scrolling, and be more mobile friendly. It will end up looking more like the barn pages but have some additional functionality. It will no longer have the images, genetic papers or pedigree information listed. To see those you will need to open the pasture in the search.
That said I will be allowing some more bulk management options to be used in the pasture.
If you have any suggestions of things you want to see on a pasture page update, or comments about things you really don't want to see feel free to post them. Just wanting to check, could it show phenotype, papers, PT, and AFPT like the barn pages? I think that would make my pasture use much more frequent, as I typically only throw surro recip mares into there.Hi! I go by Delta! They/Them pronouns.

My only request is when I switch between pastures, the tabbed box at the bottom stays on the tab I'm using. Those extra clicks add up fast.45120

Can you explain what you mean by "The tabbed box at the bottom" I am not sure exactly what you are referring too. Is this a current thing in the game you are talking about?

Things I'd like to see are bulk naming and appearance (tack) options. I'd also like for papers to remain. One thing I still miss that used to be possible (if I remember correctly) was the stallion dropdown list where you could add stallions directly from within the pasture page.ID #384

I'm just assuming that pastures will act more like barns with a box at the bottom for options. Currently I wish it would stay on testing when I'm testing, so I'm hoping if we get pasture options, they stay on the tab I'm using.45120

Could the pastures tab change color if foals are still present in them on the 24th? That way I know which pastures I missed when the notice comes up that foals need to be removed. Or could the pastures with foals in them be listed under the warning on the 24th?

I find it helpful to see pedigree info when I'm moving foals out of a Pasture because sometimes I forget if the name on my Pasture refers to the generation of the Foal or the mares. But if you show only the studs name that would still help.

I miss not being able to add the horses of choice at the pasture level, a major change lost in a previous revision. Is there a possibility of that returning? (to replicate Roseflute's request)

No. That caused all sorts of issues and caused people's pages to crash. People simply own too many horses for us to be pulling up lists like that on every pasture page load.Need to contact me? Could we have a naming feature within pastures so foals can have the prefix put on before being moved into a barn since I know I'm not the only one who forgets which pasture they just emptied, and which barn they went inThanked by 1RoseFlute
