10.6 Gelding- More Great Babies out of same stallion. Is he a keeper?

    I jut got a 10.6 gelding out of my A papered Stallion and my herd helper. I plan to keep him. Since he tested the way he did, should I test the mare also. I cannot paper yet.

    The mare is a normal foundation create, so yellow paper, the stallion however is A papered gen2, so a very good stallion for his generation! Testing the mare won't tell you much.

    I did test the Mare. I think I will breed her next breeding season ans see how she does. If she does well then I will paper her when I can get an upgrade.

Gene Guide Update!

The sunshine gene, previously known only from one line of Standardbreds has been discovered in a TWH. The gene guide has been updated with this new information. Sunshine may be much wider spread than originally thought.
