Ok - Help with DP?

So I still do not understand DP - I know I cannot "test" for it but how do you know a horse has it or not? Or is it just a guess?
Do you think these horses have it or not?

They all have dp..
For chestnut to become liver a horse must have 3 darkening genes.. so 'sty sty dp'

.. el capitian show is black chestnut so he has 4 darkening genes so sty sty dp dp and i suspect the first horse is double dp also..
But if a horse is liver you can guarantee it has at least 1 dp.
@ConfluenceFarms has a really good picture that shows dp coloursBreeding liver chestnut drafts that carry snowflake and kp.
Also breeder of mushroom, watercolour, chinchilla, splash m, wrong warp and thunderstruck.

How do you know black chestnut from liver chestnut?

Black chestnut also says liver but as you can see in the diagram black chestnut will actually look blackBreeding liver chestnut drafts that carry snowflake and kp.
Also breeder of mushroom, watercolour, chinchilla, splash m, wrong warp and thunderstruck.
Horses generally always available.

Golden Tokens have been renamed Diamond Tokens to prevent mixing them up with GMTs. Double boosted over cap horses are now designated as ****Star or ****Gold, again to prevent further member confusion issues I have been seeing.
