I've done that myself - put a brindle in by mistake - didn't genetic test and then realized my mistake and the lovely person (Thanks PP) that bought him gave him back to me.
I now do a general search on my own horses for brindles - they appear even if you haven't gene tested. That way you can check before auction starts :)Breeding brown/liver/black with white spotting drafts. If you ever fancy straws PM me. PM me if you need help with GE. -

Gene Guide Update!
The sunshine gene, previously known only from one line of Standardbreds has been discovered in a TWH. The gene guide has been updated with this new information. Sunshine may be much wider spread than originally thought.1/27/2026 3:58 AM EST

Our brand new gene guide can be found in the "Resources" section of the navigation, or by clicking underlined genes on the gene testing results. Right now only scientifically documented genes have been added but I look forward to adding all our other genes very soon.1/15/2026 11:30 AM EST
