Pasture is not allowing stallion in

I'm trying to add a stallion to the corresponding pasture. There is not a stallion in the pasture and the pasture has not been bred this month.

I just tested it and it looks like it is giving the error message (in error) but still allowing stallions to be added.

Interesting. I've tried to add the stallion multiple times and the pasture does not list a stallion afterward even after reloading the page.
