Happy 20th Anniversary HorseGeneticsGame.com!

This year's theme is On the Move!

Why "On the Move"? Well after 20 years of being locked to a browser I am proud to announce that we have been working for months on an app version of the game. This will not be a stand alone app, it will still be the same website but you will be able to open it and play the game on mobile devices like an app.

Our wonderful Haystack has been working like mad on this project and we are so excited to share it with you. We expect to have it out for you to trial in the next few days.

In addition to the app I sat down and took a look at the weekly pay. Those numbers were set decades ago and it was time for a big old cost of living increase.

Free accounts went from 5,000 hbs per week to 50,000 hbs.
Basic Upgrades went from 12,500 hbs per week to 125,000 hbs.
Premium Upgrades went from 25,000 hbs per week to 250,000 hbs.
These changes will appear the next time you get your weekly pay.

Random Acts of Giving

RAoG is back again. Remember you do not need to post a wishlist to give and you can add or a remove a wishlist at any point during the month of June. It is not too late to qualify if you want to join in.

20th Anniversary Puzzle Gene

In honor of our puzzle piece logo and our 20th, I have created what I expect to be the final phantom gene I ever put out.

Phantom Puzzle is $6.10 per copy and and available now thorough the end of June.

Galloping Sales and RGS

All RGS genes are available through the end of June.
Reminder this does not include ice or phantom genes beside puzzle and diamond sparkle. Those are not part of the normal RGS.

Galloping sales are also active. Most things in our upgrade shop will be available for 25% off, but the sales are constantly changing. Check frequently to grab the items you are looking to stock up on.

2 New Breed Characteristics + tack!

Jenx and I have created two new BCs to fit with our "on the move" theme.


The show jumper BC is already live in the game. We have also released a build your own jumps tack pack.
The Show Jumper is available to everyone with a BC subscription, or can be unlocked for five diamond tokens. (Unlock Additional BCs page) The Just Jumps tack pack can be unlocked in the Tack Pack Manager.

The second new BC for this month with be the Racehorse. Unlike the current thoroughbred BC this one will be in full gallop and will include a racing livery tack pack. I look forward to have example images for you probably later today.

I launched this website as a wet behind the ears 20 year old who barely knew what they were doing. I can confidently say that at this point I have SOME idea what I am doing. This is my life's work, and I hope to never stop learning and improving this game.

Thank you to everyone who was patient when I made mistakes. Thank you to everyone who stuck with me during my long term illness. Thank you to all of you who have been kind and supportive. Thank you to all of you who have financially supported a queer women owned small family business. Thank you to all of you who feed my family and pay my bills. I owe my livelihood to you.

Creating this game with all of you has been one of the most wonderful, frustrating, enriching and humbling endeavors of my life. I have spent half my life with all of you and it has been a honor to create your horse genetics game.

I can't look into the future and know if I will still be making this game in another 20 years, but what a truly amazing legacy that would be.
