Not all tack templates show in Load Template dialog; Barn Buddy not saving in template

Is there a maximum number of tack templates a user can have?
I just saved a template named "Doubleskunk," but the new template isn't showing in my my list of available templates when I go to load it.
I currently have 13 visible templates on the "load template" menu, but there are 15 - including my new Doubleskunk template - showing on the dropdown to set default template for breeds as well as bulk edit on the barn page.
It also isn't applying when I reregister a horse to the Doubleskunk breed.
Edit to add: noteworthy that the template did automatically appear on a test-bred foal, as well as to a horse created as Doubleskunk breed. So I'm guessing it will need to be manually applied to any reregistered horse, which is fine. Easy enough to do, thanks to the bulk edit feature in the barns!
Further edit: the tabby cat that is supposed to be there somehow did not save as part of the template. I've had a similar problem with other Barn Buddies.

After posting the above, I created another template to see if I could replicate the error. The new template is named "Capriccio" and it does show up on the Load Templates dialog, as well as appearing on the default template dropdown list as well as bulk edit on the barn page.
It did not automatically apply to a reregistered horse, but did apply appropriately to a Capriccio foal specifically bred to test this.

Golden Tokens have been renamed Diamond Tokens to prevent mixing them up with GMTs. Double boosted over cap horses are now designated as ****Star or ****Gold, again to prevent further member confusion issues I have been seeing.
