Glitch Results in False Breeding
-
I was implanting embryos into the university surrogate when my system randomly glitched, which caused one of my mares to say that she has been bred even though there was no actual embryo implanted.
I was also charged for this “implantation” despite no foal actually being produced.
I can’t exactly say how many foals I implanted since I’ve been randomly doing it all day - but after going through my barns I only got 10 foals when I was charged for 11.
Is there a way to fix this?
Here’s the mare:

Thank you!
I don’t know if this is a bug or not.SilverHillsFarm (she/her) - ID# 55931 -
Can you give more details about what you mean by glitched? That gives me nothing to work on. What happened?Need to contact me? Read this first. Only send me a PM for PayPal issues or if I ask you to. Otherwise, make a forum post. You will get a better faster answer by making a post.
I sometimes get busy and miss things. If your private message, question, etc. gets missed please ping me so I can follow up with you. I am also always happy to explain or clarify. (HAJ does not have a customer service email, please send me a forum message! )

I also need to know the sire and dam of the embryo as it is possible the foal just died.Need to contact me? Read this first. Only send me a PM for PayPal issues or if I ask you to. Otherwise, make a forum post. You will get a better faster answer by making a post.

These were all of the foals I implanted:

The first batch I used my own surrogate mares but then I happened to be 1 short and used the university mare, and then the second batch was all university mares.
As for the “glitch”, my screen sorta froze and went all white before randomly refreshing and brought me back to the embryo implantation page with my mare suddenly not at the top of the list anymore.
After I noticed it I implanted my last embryo and then checked my mare out (the one above) and found her bred. That’s when I made the connection and quickly made this post.
If her breeding can’t be undone it’s alright, I just wanted to know what happened and how to prevent it again.

All the embryos I implanted were made the same day as I implanted them, using eggs and straws from double boosted horses, none of the parents had much extravagant genetics that could result in a foal passing, they had what I call “basic” colors like Dun and Bay.SilverHillsFarm (she/her) - ID# 55931

The game hanging or refreshing can not cause a horse you did not select to be bred. HTML form elements just don't work that way. They can only submit what the human picks. That mare was most likely selected to be used as a surrogate accidently. I can even see in the charges where you probably chose her by accident.
From 10:24:16 until 10:27:20 you implanted 19 embryos and on the 19th you used a Uni Surrogate. You then did your testing on those foals.
You started breeding again at 14:58:43 until 15:00:30 (when you stopped to buy straws) . During that embryo session you created 11 foals, but you only used 10 Uni surrogates. (One foal used one of your own mares as a surrogate) You then proceeded to put those 11 foals through testing proving you got 11 foals not 10.
I see no evidence that you were charged to create a foal you did not receive. On 11-07 you where charged for 30 embryo implantations in total, you where then charged for 30 Breeding Inspections which implies to me you where charged for exactly the same number of foals you received.
Either way I have set her back to unbred for the season since clearly you did not intend to breed her and odd behavior by the game resulted in her getting used by accident.

Since I know the exact moment the foal was born I can also say with 100% certainty that this is the foal you used her as a surrogate for.

Thank you Ammit! That explains a lot!
When it refreshed it must’ve went to her and then I must’ve accidentally clicked to implant the embryo.
Thank you so much again! :) Greatly appreciate it!SilverHillsFarm (she/her) - ID# 55931
