**Winners Announced!** Name Contest! 50 GMTs Prize!

    I've recently started painting model horses. I'm planning a name contest on my blog in October for one guy, and decided I wanted to do one on here too with a different model! The prize will be 50 GMTs worth of work on a horse of your choice. Other prizes may develop as we go. Winner will be announced on the 1st of October.

    This grey palomino Missouri Fox Trotter mare needs a name! (She's not quite finished, but I got excited!)

    Things that may or may not help:
    I enjoy names linked to the history of a breed.
    I'm a 90s and 2000s kid!
    Puns are fun.
    I prefer show-style names than full-on silly names.

    Some examples from other models I own:
    "Chrome On The Range" for a dark liver stock horse with lots of chrome.

    "Sel De Marais" (Salt of the Marsh, he's a blue roan, so salty looking, and Poitevin Drafts were developed in the salt marshes of Poitou. It's also written in Norman French, the language of the time.)

    "Flare Factor" a play on Fear Factor.

    "Kleurenstorm" Colour Storm in Dutch for a pinto Friesian sport horse.

    We no joke named our newest female golden retriever "Elle Woods Attorney" and we call her Ellie, it was my husbands idea to name her that for her AKC papers, however I will take credit if you pick this one lol.

    A historically themed name: Lady Dina
    Named after the oldest recorded mares in the registry, Lady was the earliest palomino foaled in 1920, and Dina was the earliest recorded gray I could find, foaled in 1948!

    Deltarian: Mixed bag- Open/Closed Genes, Non-Fantasy/Fantasy Genes.
    Deltani Saddle Seat Horses! Deltani horses are DDW white-spotted beauties that express full white.
    Delmari: Black based (E/E a/a or E/e a/a) with any number of genes that can add white or other color shifts.

    There were so many entries I loved, I was only able to narrow it down to 5! I happened to purchase another Fox Trotter a few days ago (hasn't arrived yet), so there will be two 50 GMT winners, and three 25 GMT winners.
