How fast does a horse age

So I have quite a few foals and they are all still pretty young but I would like to breed with them. How fast does it take for them to age? Is it one real year = one game year?

All horses age up at the end of the month. So, on June 1st, all of your yearlings will become 2 year olds.
However, it will take a couple months for them to be ready to breed. Stallions can breed at 3 years of age and mares at 4. -

Golden Tokens have been renamed Diamond Tokens to prevent mixing them up with GMTs. Double boosted over cap horses are now designated as ****Star or ****Gold, again to prevent further member confusion issues I have been seeing.
