Birthday Buyers Remorse

Today is my birthday so I splurged a bought myself my first three licenses! I was happy with how the watercolor came out. I used Ammit’s suggestion that she gave us in the newsletter, but I’m not happy with either the sun runes or the star runes. I’m not on any of the showing leader boards, so it will probably be a while before I am able to make any adjustments to them… but in the meantime I’m seeking suggestions for what you guys think I could do to improve them.

They both look normal for the genes. It would help if you posted some examples of horses you do like with those genes. :)

I liked the ones shown as examples on the gene sale page! I really wish that we could click on the example horses on the sale page to see what other genes they have. -
The star runes horse you have looks very similar to the example already. Do you not like the brindle part?

I did try rerollining a few times. My star runes horse has too much white and my sun runes horse does not have enough white. I’m trying to figure out what to change on each of them without ending up with the same problems in reverse.

I did some playing around with them for you. The w2 on that first horse is super aggressive and REALLY wants to blow out the white. That is the only thing that you might prefer to change but I didn't want to touch it in case it was important to you. w8 might be more what you want.Need to contact me? Read this first. Gene Guide Update!
The sunshine gene, previously known only from one line of Standardbreds has been discovered in a TWH. The gene guide has been updated with this new information. Sunshine may be much wider spread than originally thought.1/27/2026 3:58 AM EST
