Does he carry dp?

    Does he carry dp? And if so what chances would he have of passing it onto his foals?
    Breeding liver chestnut drafts that carry snowflake and kp.
    Also breeder of mushroom, watercolour, chinchilla, splash m, wrong warp and thunderstruck.

    Horses generally always available.

    His dam is a freaky friday horse, and they are HZ DP, so he has one copy. He has a 50/50 chance to pass it on.

    Yes I think he does StySty means he is DP I believe

    StySty does not mean DP. Sooty and DP are two different darkening genes. A horse has to have three darkening genes to show DP (liver, chocolate palomino, etc). So either StySty DP or Sty DPDP.

    Jahdaz is right, he'll be carrying 1 copy of dp. What I want to know is why his color name says Bay and not liver since he does have 3 darkening genes.

    The color name will only say Liver on chestnut or palomino bases. Just another reason why it can be so difficult to tell DP on black based horses.

    I don't know that it blocks the dp, but how could you get darker than black? :P

    Breeding advice but I'm too scared to run him thorough strict but because he's only C papered ill give him a couple of seasons and see what he throws.. Worst case I should get some pretty show ponies :)

    Not really but strict advice is like normal advice but tougher. It doesn't care if it's a B 5th gen, so long as it's better than its parent by a certain degree.

Golden Tokens have been renamed Diamond Tokens to prevent mixing them up with GMTs.

Double boosted over cap horses are now designated as ****Star or ****Gold, again to prevent further member confusion issues I have been seeing.
