I've known this for a long while. It doesn't work for primary pasture though, as it seems to only count mares. And if you have less than half the mare capacity in a pasture, it can trick you. For example, if you only had 28 mares in a 60 acre pasture, it would show something like 58/60, if you have 2 stallions in there.
