Lined brindle tobian stallion. Price reduced
  • He's gorgeous
    ----
    Barn ID 4953

I am very forgetful so if I owe you anything but am taking to long please send me a PM. I don't get on to play the game as often as I once did but I am usually most active during the 2nd and 3rd week of each month
  • May I ask why you refer to him as 'lined'?

  • I think it's because they don't want to say "uneven", or maybe that that is the box you click for horses who aren't foundation?
Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.
    Prices are almost always negotiable.
On the look out for pointed creates
  • Will you be putting him up for stud next season because I have quite a few brindle mares I'd like to breed to him if I cant get a brindle stud in creations
    Wolfgang Pride ID 554
Always willing to help. Licensed for everything. Specialize in Liver Chestnuts, Chocolate Palominos, Sabino, Tobiano. But I breed everything except Frame

  • Wolfgang Pride - your brindle mares are (I assume) foundations and there are a ton of foundation brindles that are up for stud every season. You would be better breeding to those boys just because then you would be breeding rank special foundation - rank special foundation and have evenly bred foals. There are also brindle stallions for sale if youre looking to buy.
  • Star Strike, he would be worth more if he were papered and comparison tested. I'm interested in seeing if I could figure out which generation level he would fall into quality wise. He looks promising, but I'll have to think about it as he doesn't really fall into my color scheme. It looks like he's already taken off the market for the month. How much are you asking?
All into high quality black based primitive duns and bootstraps.
  • Hes not for sale he was just up for stud and since breeding season is over hes not up anymore :)
    Thanked by 1SummertreeFarms
  • MoonAcre - I don't really care about the even breeding but thanks for the reply I was interested in this stud because he was a tall warmblood and his stud fee was more reasonable than some but I may still end up buying a brindle stud so that I can breed my brindles to him every breeding season.

  • Ok, good to know. He looks nice, I think it was people breeding him to foundation's that pulled him off the leaderboards this year, he used to be high up there. Still it would be easier to decide who to breed him to if he were papered, but I think his breeding quality is probably up there... just nit sure where.
Wolfgang, if you bred foundation mares to him you will probably have a large amount of goals snipped by testing. And most of my experience shows that most largely uneven breeding (by several generation quality levels) produce mostly intact horses of even 2g quality or lower, just like even breeding but all the cool ones and usually all the Colts get snipped. Just a precaution.

  • I'm fully aware that they'd have a good chance of being snipped but I'm not to concerned right now. I would just like to see the results but I just purchased a brindle stud so no need for this one anymore. I usually don't breed horses for show I'm more of a color breeder. But hopefully I get some cool looking babies even if they are snipped or not brindle.

  • I meant lined as in not foundation. And yes he will be up for stud next season as well!

  • Yeah I wish I could paper him but am only a basic player. I'm working on building a show string so that I can save up game $ for an upgrade.
  • Even though he is not even lined, a surprisingly large majority of his offspring stay intact....
  • I'm really interested in his paper level. With intact foals I'm guessing he is at a foundation standard.

Like I said he is gorgeous. And I've done my fair share of uneven breeding but recently I've cleaned up my lines for better quality.
I do have 7 or 8 uneven mares left intact for producing show ponies only so I might get some use out of him next season. My mares are flashy too so you'll get to see what color he can produce.
