S+ tends to make DP Silver Blacks look similar to DP Chestnuts and DP Brown. It adds kind of that warm fire glow to the belly. EE is what is making him a black instead of a chestnut (which would be ee) and he'd need At to be Brown.

Both his parents are EE and neither carry At so no you wouldn't be able to GMT that, though if you cross him with ee mares you wil get Ee babies next generation and then cross those babies with more ee's and you should eventually get liver chestnuts, same goes for crossing him with some mares that have At
