I had to have my beloved cat, Spooky euthanized today. She had an aggressive and fast growing cancer of the breast. It took the use of her legs away, but not her ravenous appetite. I'm gonna miss my lunch buddy. Love you Spooky, you were one of the best kitties ever. <3<br />
I'm going to find away to memorialize her in this game. I've cried so much today I think my body can no longer produce tears. Obviously, I'm taking it hard. I'd appreciate any words of love you can send my way.Id #: 43017

I am sorry you lost your furbaby, the hardest thing in the world is letting them go because you love them and don't want them to suffer anymore. I am sure she will be waiting for you on the Rainbow Bridge. Sending lots of hugs :'(Thanked by 1RoseMorning

All the hugs and all the happy thoughts. You made the right choice, and grieving deeply is how you know how much you loved her.~Purveyor of the finest riding horses in Rakia~

I know exactly how you feel, Rose. I had to put my cat down two months ago; she had kidney disease and was wasting away. I cried for weeks, and didn't really want to do a lot of anything. But when things get hard I remember that I gave her all the love and kindness I could when I had her put down. I took the pain away, and that's exactly what you did. I believe our cats understood that, and that if they could they would thank us. So take as much time as you need to grieve, but know that we're all here for you. And I'm not sure if it will help, but this is the horse I made in memory of my cat. She was a tortie and the Onyx gene was perfect for her. If you need any help making your memorial horse, just let me know and I'll do what I can.

I am so sorry. I know how it feels to lose our beloved pets... I am sending big hugs and lots of love. Just remember the happy times with her and how good it was that you had each other. My name Dinascar is after my first cat (who lived to be nearly 20 but is now no longer with us).Breeding brown/liver/black with white spotting drafts. If you ever fancy straws PM me. PM me if you need help with GE.Thanked by 1RoseMorning

I also lost my sweet Sophie cat in May. She also had cancer, a very aggressive tumor in her mouth and sinuses. Letting her go was so painful, even though I knew (as you know about your kitty) that it was the best and most loving thing I could do for her.
Give yourself permission and time to grieve. It's the only way to start the healing process. And, when you're ready, like ShelteredShadows said, if you need any assistance in creating your memorial horse, I'll help you any way that I can.--------------------------------

Thank you all so much for your compassion and understanding. Even though I know I made the right choice and her pain is gone, but I feel a huge hole in my life. I've done nothing but cry and feel sick to my stomach.
My cat was a beautiful long haired black cat with amber eyes. She LOVED to eat and had the loudest most comforting purr.
Thank you for your offers of help.Id #: 43017
