Beautiful! Where is the Foundation Horse Rescue though? I've heard it mentioned but have not been able to find the tab or link for it?

@Looper, we have two rescues! The Foundation Rescue is player 13, and the Hajinc Rescue is player 9. You can directly buy FR horses at any time on any day (except the first of the month). All horses are Perfect Foundations from auction who didn’t get any bids. Keep an eye out for PF Rank Specials in there ; )

The Hajinc Rescue saves REALLY good lined horses (high PT and high paper) who didn’t get any auction bids, and then offers them in a future auction. You can only obtain these horses by bidding when auctions are open. The snipped ones are awesome show stock, and the intact are usually uneven by gen, but fantastic bootstrappers. I didn’t know about the HR until I had played for several months. It is an awesome treasure trove.

I struggle to keep track of all the links that don’t have their own tab, so I just memorized these two player IDs, and I find them by the horse search.

Just put 13 in the owner ID, and you can search what horses foundation rescue has for sale

Not to mention if you use the horse search to look at ID 13's horses, you can narrow down your search with bone, height, tattoos, gender, etc. I only suggest don't narrow down by genetics as a lot of horses there aren't colour tested and you may miss out on some

The Lined Rescue only puts 10 horses up in every auction. It is usually forgotten and I get to snag all 10! Now everybody knows about it and I have to SHARE! :((

I have been playing 2 and a half years and I learn something new - I did not know you could look at The Hajinc Rescue.
Of course, I immediately went to have a look how many of my guys are in there (answer - not many) but DinaChill's account has loads. The rescue is right they will be good show ponies she has discarded.

I think one of my new long-term goals is to have rejects/discarded horses high enough quality to get picked up by Hajinc Rescue.

@FeldingFields, me, too : ) I plan out monthly breeding for a rotating fraction of my mares, but I don’t own enough pastures for everyone to get a pasture bonus. Some are retained for show stock, but most of the non-bonus foals just go straight to auction. I recently started using my extra bootstrap stallions to create those foals, and I landed four foals in the HajiRescue this month!

@ConfluenceFarms, @HunterUnderSaddleGirl lol I’ve been slacking on bidding on them for Quicksilver recently because y’all have been so good about bidding. I occasionally see other bids when the horse was PT tested, but usually, just you two. Now the secret is out! Sorry-not-sorry ; )

It will be interesting to see if people are willing to get into bidding wars over these horses. When I first learned about the Lined HajiRescue from a forum post about earning money for new players, the poster suggested not to bid (invest) more than the horse could easily earn back for them. So if a particular auction horse had several bids, it was often financially wiser just to move on to another horse.

CF, do you know how the lucky ten horses are selected? Is it an automatic script, or does an admin have to choose them manually? Do the oldies get eaten up by the game if they aren’t purchased by a certain age (like the FR seems to do)? Is there any opportunity for the wonderful admin team (hi, Ammit!) to increase that number, in order to move a few more of the 370+ critters currently there into new loving homes?

Although of course I really enjoy having them to have them, I mostly just want to be sure that they aren't going to be yummed. So feel free to outbid me, I won't be bummed, but will grateful to have more barn space for a little while longer!

So many bays in rescue sales! And a lot of them are drafts. Why do drafts seem to be over represented in rescue sales/auctions and sales/auctions in general?
