New Yorkers? City Slickers?
-
I saw the Aussie thread, so I was just wondering if there are any other big city equestrians on here as well, particularly New York City :-) It's funny, cause growing up I was always made fun of for being a horse girl in such an urban setting! But I've found my way to suit my "city cowgirl" heartHave a nyce day!

St. Louis isn't really that big, as cities go. If they merge the city and the outlying suburbs (county) like they want to we will be the 12th biggest in the country, I think they said!
I did the actual 'live on a farm, raise and show horses, broodmare manager, hands on" thing in my youth, and that was in Los Angeles and San Diego. Now in my 'late middle' age I'm a city girl with a country getaway. My spouse has property out in the country that I visit whenever I need to get away.

@ConfluenceFarms that's so sweet! I never owned a horse or farm but I'd go to New Jersey to ride in lessons. I never was fond of showing so I just rode hunters for fun :)Have a nyce day!

Im in Kentucky but my Husband is from Long Beach Long Island. The first time he ever seen a real horse in person was when he met mine, took him awhile to become comfortable around him.
