So, for ages I've been hoping for Chinchilla to come up in the RGS. But I was hoping it wouldn't be for a while. (Like January or something). But of course, just as I have the the perfect mare I was just talking about adding it to, it pops up... And I literally have zero money. This is my luck. I swear, I'd be tempted to sell most of my horses if it meant getting one would be possible. But I know it's not. Oh well. I'll just sit here and dream. Or cry. Oh, how I can hate the RGS when they randomly pop up. :((

I feel you. I've got two studs I wanted to add chin to. I may be able to come up with the money in the next 15 days. But I may just have to wait. Looking g at the frequency chart though chin is supposed to be a common one. We'll have our chance again.

That hurts, though.
I know the genes last time were cheaper, but part of me wishes they'd do Chinchilla like they did some the last RGS. But I'm not gonna expect it. I'm just dreaming. I do get it's rather expensive.

I want to start a RP line of little white ponies using Chinchilla. I even have 2 studs and a handful of mares ready to go. Just 60$ to make those studs hom, oof. Keeping my fingers crossed I can get it before the first.

I also have Ice13 and 2 on my list of wants.

Plus Christmas and Secret Santa are coming up. We have a strict rule in our house that you can't buy YOURSELF anything starting Dec. 1st.

Oof. Well, I guess it's better it came this month, rather than next month! But since I've never experienced a Christmas here... does that include just random horses on here, or is that limited to just purchases with RL money / GMTs, etc?

Looks like you have the license already, so maybe someone would be willing to buy it for you. Or do you have lots of HB's? For snowflake people were buying it with real money then selling for millions of hbs. So someone might be able to get it

Since you already have the license, keep in mind you could always just buy straws and eggs for now until it comes up again. :)

I mean... Would it be wrong to ask someone to purchase it for me? I don't have much in Hbs, but like I said, I would be very willing to sell a lot of horses to get it, if I could.

@Lallyhop, I have a few straws, but I'm unable to buy eggs, due to not having premium.

Spry, there are also some very generous players on here that might let you make payments. the first closed gene foundie that i had bought with HBs was waay out of my price range, so the players put up a bunch of reject horses for X amount and i would buy them, and id either sell them back to the owner or auction em off.

thats really rare though

I was hoping Hom, to go with my Hom stallion. Question, the mare was bred, but her foal was sold back (this month), is she still able to be used for this?

We really do not encourage asking for donations. I totally get your frustrations, June, but I would hold off for a while. When I said Secret Santa is coming, I meant that your Santa may get you Chinchilla. Hoard your HBs for Christmas!

Getting in to payment plans and loans can get REALLY messy and tear up our lovely community. And from everything I've seen from you, June, that would break your heart more than anything else! Just step back and wait for the holiday season to do it's magic!
