The Name Game

Finally finished naming all the foals from last year (Ok, only intact fillies, but I actually got those ones named) And then I went back and looked at the list and saw things like this... This is how my mind is probably going to go for the majority of this semester at school (Not necessarily the theft part, but this amount of rational thinking). At least once school is done I will have a lot of new interesting names to play with naming descendants from. haha

Mine usually rotate between the typical "this is from the parents" name blend, pop culture references, and then completely inane names based off weird markings, of which latter category this pretty lady falls into.

I have some good ones from when I was just starting out and SO FRUSTRATED that everything was being altered. :)) I finally started using names like these when I got fed up...

Cheers always has the best names too. I just lost my favorite show horse from her that I got as a gift called Do The Dishes. I loved him so much. -
I miss my Cheers leaderboard horse, Drainage Ditch, a lot, too, Cheval!
I know I just used the name Cerebral Flatulence, but can't remember if it was here or on another stable.

I like naming my horses after their parents, especially when it gets weird. -

Because I'm a true blue Aussie, I tend to name my foundations after something to do with 'Australia' or in relation to 'Australiana'; whether it be a place, building, song, book, poem, legend, folklore, etc.

And then with naming the foals I produce I just mashup its parents' names.
My favourite would have to be:

Golden Tokens have been renamed Diamond Tokens to prevent mixing them up with GMTs. Double boosted over cap horses are now designated as ****Star or ****Gold, again to prevent further member confusion issues I have been seeing.
