Help with the new gene purchasing

I created this mare and added one rainbow gene to her, but it's not showing up. I've logged in, logged out, refreshed her picture, rerolled her picture, double checked I put it on the right mare, checked my paypal receipt, waited over an hour, tried incognito mode, tried it on my phone (just in case my computer's cache or something was holding it)... Am I missing something? Does it have to be done another way? Does it only show up on her foals? It's also not showing up in my gene licenses

@cadieness how were you able to put watercolor on that mare? I thought you could only purchase LE genes when they went on sale in the lab.

@Gracie3B go to the upgrade with real money page. There are three genes available for purchase that will now rotate on the 1st and 15th of every month. :) You just need to pick a horse that you can add them to (one that has not been bred) and pick if you would like one copy or two.

“Limited Edition Gene sales” it is completely blank, is it supposed to look like that?ID# 45123 -
I think it got taken down - either to wait for the 15th (because there’s no guarantee how long each set of genes is up for) or to be fixed while they squash a couple bugs. :)ID 45703 | he/himOpen barn policy - no closed lines! It may or may not, we don’t know. It said it will be random. There’s definitely a chance it’ll come back, though. When I go to the genes to see what is there it doesnt say how much they are?

She said that some will come up commonly and some will be quite rare. We will have to wait and see what the rotation will be. :)

When I try to select the horse to modify, it's not showing the horses and it won't let me scroll through them. It only shows the first set (that fits in the space). I changed the name on the horse so it should show first but it still won't show. I thought I had seen a workaround but now can't find the thread?

I used a "$" for mine and it worked.
