  • I noticed Ammit keeps featuring random horses. Should we compare them and see if there's anything there? :3
  • whooo GMTs here I come!
    Dabbler in EVERYTHING.
  • Ooooh!

On my other account I have a het snowflake stud. If I yum all his foals, could I GMT the other snf on him since he is lined? Or can I not since snowflake is not available right now for foundations?

  • SNF is one of those genes, like the fantasy genes, that can’t ever be GMTd onto lined horses. :-((
    Thanked by 1HTRanch
  • If both of his parents have snowflake and he simply missed a copy, you may be able to GMT him. However, since the new thing is about unbred horses, I’m not sure that yumming foals will work to make a horse GMTable anymore. I would probably check that with a horse you’ve bred very little before you try to yum lots of foals. I’d also confirm the stallion has snowflake to be GMTd...

Like FallenShadows said, you can’t add stuff that wasn’t there to be added already. You can only add genes they missed from a parent on lined horses. On foundations you can add anything in the lab!
  • Ive been on vacation, so i sadly havent been up to date! Whats going on? :D

(( the facebook page isnt loading, so i cant see!))
  • I don't see anything... What am I missing?

  • @HollowbetheInk Ellie just opened up the eligibility for GMTing a horse to include "any horse you own that is unbred, and gene tested." Previously, a horse had to be no older than 4 with no living foals.

@HTRanch and Cheers Snowflake is not currently available in the GMT lab. Ammit had it included for a while not long ago, and may put it for sale there again sometime, but usually it's not there.
De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."

  • Wow - just noticed the change. Glad I purged my stallion collection when I did. This could get very expensive though...
  • Yay - I so could spend so much money now :D
Breeding brown/liver/black with white spotting drafts. If you ever fancy straws PM me. PM me if you need help with GE.
  • Wonder if this means we can add breeding boosts to older horses without foals too now?
  • Thank you! Being new and never done GMT before and I made my FF 3, whom I want to be my first project, without know the age restriction but it could still be a few months before I can afford to start on him. This is a life savor for sure thank you again!
  • Where on the FB page are you finding this information? I have scrolled all the posts since July 10 and don't see anything relating to this? Thanks!
