Finally got around to reading the new user guide

    I was really interested in the pasture bonus. So, if I read it correctly you need your mares in 30 days for full (I always knew this) but you get a small increase at 5 days and then again at 10 days (or there abouts).
    So between 11-29 days there is no extra bonus.
    I think I will be changing my girls about, as most of my girls used to get about 24 days in there but that's not good enough. I should either give them 10 or 30. I think I will be splitting them in to just pasture girls or 10day girls or no bonus girls.
    I like that 10 days is a cut off - means you don't lose any showing at all.
    Need to do more sorting....

    I’ve never heard that smaller bonuses occur at 5 and 10 days.

    Each day they’re in they get a bigger bonus it doesn’t stop and jump up a few days later.

    I had always understood that it was continual slight improvement over the 30 days, but I'm pretty sure that Confluence is working with Ammit on the upgrade to the FAQ, so the information there may be correct.

    I phrased it that way because some people will only leave mares in for 5 or 10 days before they breed them. I didn't mean for it to be taken as there is a big jump at 5 and 10 days. Mares will get a bit of a bonus everyday, and the full bonus at 30 days.

    I may have to reword that bit!

    Thanks @ConfluenceFarms - that's good to know that my girls in there for 24 days is better than 10. And yes I think rewording is needed as if I thought that others may as well :)

    Just wanted to confirm though... I thought leftover foals in the pasture on the 28th day only gave back 1000 each?

    Oh yeah, it does now say 2500hbs each foal. Is that new?

    You guys are correct, it is 1000 hbs per foal. I changed it in the guide.

    This is exactly why I asked everyone to check it out for me! :D

Gene Guide Update!

The sunshine gene, previously known only from one line of Standardbreds has been discovered in a TWH. The gene guide has been updated with this new information. Sunshine may be much wider spread than originally thought.

New Genetics Guide!

Our brand new gene guide can be found in the "Resources" section of the navigation, or by clicking underlined genes on the gene testing results. Right now only scientifically documented genes have been added but I look forward to adding all our other genes very soon.

Barn expansions using DTs are now permanently half the price. Also, you can now reset your horse's "Foals this Season" count to zero using a DT. To celebrate both, DTs are 10% off for the next 10 days.

Golden Tokens have been renamed Diamond Tokens to prevent mixing them up with GMTs.

Double boosted over cap horses are now designated as ****Star or ****Gold, again to prevent further member confusion issues I have been seeing.
