So... Question...
-
This foal is from two foundation riding ponies... But he came out a riding horse... Can this actually happen on here? I've never had it happen before when breeding two of the same type foundations together...

The dam is 14.2 hands, just under the pony/horse cutoff. And the sire is 14 hands, which is still close to the cutoff. With bone weight and height, there is a range the parents can throw from. With both parents being so close to the cutoff on height, they just both happened to throw from their taller end. If you only want ponies, seek out the smallest ponies you can. It may require a GMT token on a foundation stud you want to keep to make him as short as possible.

Oh... Okay... Thank you... I didn't know this was honestly possible...Love,
Chase ♡ -
There is a range of possible heights (and bone densities) from any cross, so yes it is entirely possible. The parents of your foal are both large ponies (14.0 and 14.2), and it looks like the foal ended up on the taller end of the possible range. He is only 2 inches taller than his dam, though.Breeding high quality Sheldasen horses. Liver chestnut, DP mushroom, and rose gray riding horses. Dun cobs with all the patterns. Huh... Okay... Was not aware of that... Well, I suppose that answers my question perfectly...
Thank you, both...Love,

Theoretically you can breed a line of the smallest lightest ponies up into the tallest drafts with the biggest bone density. Selectively breeding the largest of each generation together. (Reverse it and shrink them into minis lol)Breeding even generation Grullos with Ice

@Bandit1119
Huh... Well, okay... I actually hadn't ever thought of that as being possible, but I suppose it is... I mean... How else would we get giants and tinies...Love,
Chase ♡
