I’m thinking about different types of GMTs available and what my next project should be. Show me your favorite genes, whether you own them or not, as long as it’s not a closed gene - especially if you’ve found any really cool combinations!

Im personally a HUGE fan of white M, and so i bought a stud that carries just that as well as pearl and ice one; let me just say, i think im in love lol.

That gene combo looks soo beautiful on appaloosas!

There isn’t a gene in this game I don’t love, and I would happily sing the praises of KitM or W3.

But, since others have beaten me to it and since I think your real question is about GMTable genes, not just open ones, let me sing you the song of W8.

I agree with Cheers about loving all the genes. One of my lines is duns with any patterns (the more the better), and I have lots of patterns in my liver chestnuts too. In addition to the 3 genes mentioned above (which are some of my favorites) I would also recommend sabino 2.

I absolutely love red based roan. I’m slightly biased on Liver and Chocolate roan, like these two ladies.

I really enjoy W10 that gives this lovely pattern, especially when combined with Splash3 to give the white face. I like how the white on the body looks like it’s creeping upwards haha! Here is my favourite stallion and his offspring (I’m also a fan of pearl):

Have you tried w2 with w8 yet? A little risky but keep the WF down and you get some gorgeous babies, especially on bay/brown.

@Lallyhop I decided to go for W3 W8 Frame crosses because it is slightly safer as a cross. On DP bay/brown with silver. You know. Blingy! Haven’t got any yet as it’s a relatively new herd for me and I have W8 on one foundation, W3 on the other.

Yes - like a lot of people I like the white spots, pearl and sooty+.
W10 and Sooty+ together on chocolate:-
