Thats awful! Might be able to sell the foal to someone who breeds uneven and then use the funds to get a new embryo/straw

and of course...he's EXACTLY what I am breeding for :(

Omg I have a ton of eggs and straws in my freezer to match but I’m honestly scared to go in there after this week.

Monday I had a terrible dream that I was creating embryos and some unseen force came along and took over my arm clicking away with no thought of matching pedigrees or generations. Wasting a lot of eggs that were irreplaceable as the mares are now deceased. After I woke up I knew that those eggs were already used Sunday so not in danger of being messed up.

Yesterday I took a break and while I was eating lunch thought that if I pulled foundation mares eggs they’d be at the top of the list and I could match them with the foundation ice 8 straws I had that was at the top of the list and not have my dream come to life. I had enough to cover all my red mares for 2 or 3 seasons.

First egg I went to collect said congratulations you’ve collected 13 eggs. I was like I did what? Crap flushed her instead of pulling an egg. Moved back down the page and pulled the rest of the mares correctly.

Went to make the embryos and almost used the straw directly on the mare before catching myself and using eggs. Then I got in the grove and after quite a number I realized that the mares name didn’t have the red paper tag I’d put on to group them together because I’d gone back to using straws on the mare. Ended up using all of the ice 8 straws and having to pull 10 more from my own foundation to finish covering all the mares and eggs I wanted to create embryos from. They’re still sitting in the freezer so I don’t implant them wrong lol

Yes. Usually I check their generations and have an idea of who I’ll cross them with hut by the time I receive the straws and then go to use them I’ve forgotten that information

If it makes you feel better the foal is worse than his sire so it's not because of his dam that he failed. He was going to fail either way.

Oh no! However if we go off of what Ammit says the foal wouldn't have passed no matter what.

I keep on intending to sort out my straws, especially since I've been on a buying spree! Need to spend some time over the notes on my home page. I know if I actually manage to use it it'd be a life and time saver.
