If I sold my star boys? Posted Links
-
How much should I price them for? If I did decide to sell.
-
It depends on other factors such as their breeding, color, how they've produced, how many *star stallions are currently for sale at the time. I think you could get better input if you posted links to the stallions in question.SALVISTAR PERFORMANCE HORSES

The ice boy is definitely worth a bit being a quality ice. Will give them all better looks after I get home from work. All into high quality black based primitive duns and bootstraps.

The ones with Un in their name is 1 gen off from being even. Gunner is 2 gen off from being even.
Baileys Watch is even gen. -
Once we get into star I find people don't care as much about even. Gunner if I sold I would do forum auction with him. The rest it really depends. I find I tend to sell extra colts for 5k, and colts that were in consideration to be kept or I have used I post higher, rational behind that I don't know, but that is what I do. With how fast the 5k sell they probably could be priced a bit higher, but I was just trying to move them. These are uneven stars. When you are even or close to even I think the lower generation they are and the more generations of stars behind them raises the price, but so far I have not sold star colts from my evenish lines. I will probably be raising the price on my uneven star colts too since I think their quality is getting to the point where it warrants it, but I tend not to price as high as some people too. If you want you could try advertising them higher and see if people bite or do forum auctions, I'm not sure. All into high quality black based primitive duns and bootstraps.

I would definitely bid on Lux Gunner. I could see him going for a fair few hbs.

Run a search on horses for sale and set the search to filter by paper level then find out what people are selling their stars for. If you see a lot of horses sitting around at the same price point then that price is probably too high. price just under that and you'll sell.Player formerly known as "shad0cat".
