Why is it that a horse that has always been speyed/gelded says it is still "trained for the week" rather than "leveled off" stops increasing in points?
For example this one:-

She has a PT score of 11.1 so will level off at roughly age 11 :)

When they are getting close to leveling off, they slow down on the points.

But she should have another 2/3 years but she has slowed down to 1 point or no points for the past year - surely that is leveled off not still going?

Some of my horses seem to keep going right up to their PT in age gaining about 8 points a training session but others don't.

Spiced Squirrel here is the same age yet she is still going up despite a much lower PT:-

Is it because she is in a lower show level?
I have been playing over a year but I am only just getting high PT horses getting close to leveling off so have not really noticed trends before.

I think I have just answered my own question - looking at my other show horses. I think once they get up to about 7W there is a definite slow down. :)

That horse has gained 21 points this year so I am not sure what you mean.

Yes but her showing score in the class has not gone up but the lower PT horse has gone up. She is still a very good show pony. I am not moaning I am just curious as to how it is worked out :)

Dina is referring to the increase in her show score (not her points). In November the top horse added 9 or 10 points to her show score each week. In December, despite still saying she’s training each week and not Levelled Off, she gained 10 points the first week, 0 the second, 1 the third, 0 the fourth. I agree this seems unusual, but I don’t monitor my show ponies show scores so am definitely unsure.

Make sure you guys don't use points when you mean score. :D Different things.
