Prestige points are the points your breed can earn at the end of each year by performing well in shows. Prestige points rack up over time and unlock titles for your breed.

Previously these points have been paid out based on your overall placing in the top 100 performing breeds of the year. This has never really sat right with em as I have always wanted the Best of Breeds board to be noncompetitive and something you can shoot for no matter your goals in the game.

With that in mind you now get prestige points based on how well your breed does period, not how well it compares to other breeds.

Prestige Points awarded per annual performance points
275+ performance: 10 prestige
250 to 274 performance: 8 prestige
225 to 249 performance: 5 prestige
200 to 224 performance: 4 prestige
175 to 199 performance: 3 prestige
150 to 174 performance: 2 prestige
125 to 149 performance: 1 prestige

So if you hit 275 or more performance points for the year your breed gets 10 prestige regardless of how anyone else did. If you hit 125 performance points, you get 1 prestige point, even if you are not in the top 100 breeds for the year.
