Can't Train New Horses

Hello,
I only joined a couple of days ago, so I may be missing something, but since rollover last night, it's not giving me the option to train new horses. It lists them as untrained for the week, and I'm getting low competition scores, but I have no icon to train them.
Apologies if I'm missing something or have misunderstood a mechanic. Thanks in advance for any help! -
Training only happens once per week, with the new week starting on Sundays, I believe! Welcome to the game - I sent you a getting started gift!

So the first day, when I bread or created a new horse, I was able to train it right away. Since rolling over after that first day, though, none of my newly bred or created horses can be trained. Is that how it's supposed to work? -

Okay, so do the ones who have been showing up as not trained for the last couple of days just get trained at the beginning of the next week, then? The first week just gets skipped until the autotrainer runs again? Is there a way to pause premium and I can just train them manually? -
Hey, just wanted to post an update. The same thing happened this week with horses I created after the auto trainer had already run, so I dropped my basic membership and was able to train everyone manually. I don't know how much losing out on the first week really matters, but I feel better having everyone all trained.

The auto trainer should be running every single day, not just at the start of the week.

Huh, that's weird! I'm positive it only ran at the beginning of the week - the horse from the picture above wasn't trained at all last week, but he was at the beginning of this week.
Well, if I pick up Basic again, I'll be sure to update you!
