He just got his tenth foal and beat Requiem for the top spot on the Era 0 producing stallion board. Wow. Thanks guys!

Another thing I find interesting I find interesting is both Requiem and Falkaur reached the top of the leaderboards their first month breeding respectively being out for public stud being bred to an assortment of different quality mares (I personally bred Falkaur to a normal crate mare to get his tenth foal quicker because I was impatient) I think this is a good test to prove that who you breed a horse to and the actual overall quality of the foals does not influence a horse's standing on the leaderboard. I'm thinking it is the invisible numbers that horse throws to the foal and not the combination of the numbers both parent providers that the leader board is reading, because I know these boys aren't that far ahead and honestly there are studs with higher average foal stats when just looking at papers and PT scores. So lower foals due to "bad breedings" (Something I have heard about, not something I believe in) don't actually hurt the horse's game standing at all. Thanks guys, this is very interesting.

Thanks! I probably lean a little too much on Dark Star stock, as can probably be seen, but I'm excited about my two home bred boys who test AGA to Falkaur there now. They are in my pastures this month.

I've done the same with my boot herd, Wildland. I started with Dark Star lines as much as possible, especially one particular line, and now I'm working towards my goal of pearl dun sabino appy ponies consistently over 12pt that pass BA. I'm getting there, more colts are passing BA than I need and finally got a pearl dun sabino colt AGA my Rogue Night who also passed BA. :3 Rogue was superior to his sire, Rogue One, who was a Dark Star, out of a Dark Star mare, and he has tested AGA or slightly superior to a couple other Dark Stars from nice lines, so he's been my bootstrapping benchmark. Lol I can't wait for him to age up!

Between Rogue, Fiver, my Ruff N Ready son who tested AGA Rogue, and my Bird Star colt who tested AGA Bird Star I finally have enough really nice studs to do pasture breeding for all my Gold boot mares and the best of my blues next month. Then I'll do a major cull on blue mares, running them all through BA. A lot have already been tested, but there's a bunch I wanted a foal from first to get their genes into my herd. :\">
