Tough Choice
-
I have two Pintaloosa Grullo colts. Both have the same amount of points in showing. Both placed 1st in both of their classes so far. Both are from keeper mares. One is Homoz Tobiano Hetero LP so he's the number one at the moment the other is Het for Splash and LP but he's prettier.
Don't think I need to keep two colts that are the same base color. I like variety so if I have one dun then the next needs to be a creme based plus the pinto and or appy.
I listed the #2 for a high price so if someone just couldnt live without him that would officially settle it but I'm still torn.. -
Post their links. We can have a look and help you decide.
How old are they? If they're pretty young then keep them until their first season and see who is the better stud----

I am very forgetful so if I owe you anything but am taking to long please send me a PM. I don't get on to play the game as often as I once did but I am usually most active during the 2nd and 3rd week of each month -

I second hanging on to them for now. I hang on to all my babies till their first breeding season if I cant decide between them. Then I judge them off how well they produce a few foals. Plus that gives you a chance to see how they are doing on showing as well.8834

You can't really judge how foals are going to be for showing. They can't be trained until they are 2, and the classes are so small in Level 1 that luck plays a larger role in the results than ability. A horse needs to get into at least Level 2 Local, and maybe even into 2 National before you can judge how well they are training. And you won't know if they are really going to be profitable until they level off and reach the top of their training ability. Then, depending on where they are in their class, you will have some idea if they should be kept showing for the rest of their game lives. Now, with the showing bonus, even if a horse with a lot of points ends up at the bottom of its class, it is still worth keeping, even if you stop showing it, because it will still be contributing to your daily showing bonus.De gustibus non disputandum.
