Special Gene Sales

This page allows you to order a gene for any applicable horse in the game owed by any player. The owner of the horse will receive the gene license for any closed genes. You may modify the genetics of any horse that is unbred, gene tested, foundation and not a clone. To make the horse homozygous for a gene, add strand one to the cart, then return to this page to add strand two.

It is your responsibility to double check that you have selected the right horse, owned by the right player.

Gene Example and Info:

Onyx is fantasy variation of the dun gene. It creates bold body stripes and face masks. It needs one copy to show and is reduced in visual intensity by nd1 and dun.

Powder White

Gene Example and Info:

Powder White is located near the KIT gene and produces lacy markings on the spine, legs, and face. It does not interact with sabino, white genes, or impact white lethality levels. It requires one copy to show. Two copies make denser white markings across the back but do not increase the marking size.

Chocolate

Gene Example and Info:

Two copies of the recessive b TYRP1 mutation turn all black pigment into chocolate brown pigment. Horse must be E/- or E/E for chocolate to show.

Harlequin

Gene Example and Info:

Harlequin is a real gene found in great danes that modifies the appearance of merle by turning the diluted areas of merle completely white. In game it turns both the diluted areas of merle and silver horses pure white. The gene is homozygous lethal and requires one copy and a copy of silver or merle to show.

This gene has no sharing restrictions.

Axiom Red

Gene Example and Info:

Axiom Red(R), Green(G), and Blue(B) produce subtle stars with one copy and a vivid space appearance with two copies. Each produces space patterns in their respective colors and can be combined to make new colors. Colored Axiom does not combine with Nexus. The eyes of axiom horses glow their respective colors. Space patterns are random and may have halos of complimentary colors.
