What are the differences between the horses
-
Riding horse. Warmblood how do you know the difference.I have been looking at different ones and been wondering how to breed for tobiano rabicano horses.
-
This is a warmblood

This is a riding horse
This is a draft

Tobiano and rabicano are different color genes they arent the breeds.
To breed for them you will need horses that carry those genes. So keep an eye out for tobiano and rabicano herd helpers so you can create them or use the horse search to search for horses for sale with those genes :)

In the horse's information, you will see a number labeled Bone Weight. Any horse with a number below 1.50 is a Riding horse, any horse with a number from 1.50-2.50 is a Warmblood, and any horse with a number above 2.50 is a Draft. :)

Would she match what you're looking for? I'm cleaning out my barns and she doesn't fit what I'm breeding for. I'd be happy to throw in a couple of straws from one of my tobiano stallions.
I have a couple of colts available that carry tobiano and rabicano, but it'll be a few seasons before they're able to breed. -
Yes she would work. I like her markings. Thank you.
