I want to put a tag in front of my horses names for tracking, is there rules to this at all?

Not sure what you mean by a tag, but lots of members put all sorts of information in the name field.Need to contact me? Read this first. Only send me a PM for PayPal issues or if I ask you to. Otherwise, make a forum post. You will get a better faster answer by making a post.
I sometimes get busy and miss things. If your private message, question, etc. gets missed please ping me so I can follow up with you. I am also always happy to explain or clarify. (HAJ does not have a customer service email, please send me a forum message! )

Common ones are G for generation, and E for era if that's what your tracking, but we all make up our own breeding systems, so you will see all kinds of prefixes to names.45120

Gene Guide Update!
The sunshine gene, previously known only from one line of Standardbreds has been discovered in a TWH. The gene guide has been updated with this new information. Sunshine may be much wider spread than originally thought.1/27/2026 3:58 AM EST

Our brand new gene guide can be found in the "Resources" section of the navigation, or by clicking underlined genes on the gene testing results. Right now only scientifically documented genes have been added but I look forward to adding all our other genes very soon.
