I got engaged!

We'd been looking at rings and discussing engagement timing for a few months now. We went away for my work last week, and while on a ferry I asked her to braid my hair, and she joked that she'd only do a french braid after we got engaged. So I went up to the gift shop, bought a ring, got down on one knee on the vehicle deck and asked, and she said yes! (I included a disclaimer afterwards that we'd have a redo when her proper ring has been made and in a prettier setting, haha.)
:D Definitely gonna wear a french braid with flowers in it for my wedding hair style. -
