GMTing Flushed Mares?
-
The mares in question are only two, so I have some time, but I’d like to figure out if this is possible or not.
I heard that a mare that has been flushed is still gmtable until she reached 30 eggs flushed (as long as the eggs are unused). Is this true?
If so, if I pulled 14 eggs off a mare, then added splash m, would those previous 14 eggs then have splash m as well? -
I'm not sure about the max number of eggs you can pull, but yes you can finish gmts after eggs are pulled and the resulting foals will reflect the finished parent. So you can add splash m and get it on your babies.45120

@Seaswell thank you! If one of the eggs is used before she’s finished would she still be gmtable?
-
No. as soon as an egg becomes a foal the parent is locked. It has living offspring. I heard recently that you can make an embryo and still gmt.45120

Ok that makes sense, thank you for clarifying this for me @Seaswell :)
