Portrait rerolls...on its own

    I run papered a few of my mares and one of my geldings. After I finished I clicked on my last horse I papered and went to his page. I noticed his portrait wasn't "him" in a bit of a panic I went and clicked on several of my favorite horses and sure enough every single one of them had a new portrait. Why?
    I love how most of my horses look and now they are all different, is there any way to fix it?

    One of my first horses doesn't even look close to what he used to and it's rather upsetting

    Has it happened to anyone else?
    The only thing that I did different from any other time I log in was accept and attempt to use a straw (a prize from abbey) on one of my 4 year old mares. It don't work so I was just gonna try to use it later this month...

    The game just got a huge update, I just have been too busy to post anything yet. Nothing is wrong.

    The update ran earlier today which added the new genes to the game. Everyone's portraits will now update...most of your plainer horses shouldn't look much different but the patterns may change significantly. You can try to reroll their portraits for something closer to what you had, but that can get expensively.

    Ammit is trying to make the genes we have more realistic and true to life! It's a lot of fun, if a bit confronting the first time it happens!

    Oooh okay. I just didn't see anyone else talking about it so I thought maybe it was just me. I might require roll a few that got super dramatic changes but most of the others still look amazing.

    Ammit has always said that we shouldn't get too attached to a particular portrait. She is always updating things and all portraits are subject to be changed and updated.

    Yep and horses will auto refresh a few times during their life as well.

Gene Guide Update!

The sunshine gene, previously known only from one line of Standardbreds has been discovered in a TWH. The gene guide has been updated with this new information. Sunshine may be much wider spread than originally thought.
