Removing KP From a horse?

So I used to love KP and added it to all of my foundations, and now I don't like it much. I cloned one of my favorite mares and was wanting to remove the KP from the clone in the GMT lab but that isn't an option...
So I have two questions.
Is there a reason KP can’t be removed? DP and GP can’t be removed either. Which I think is odd since, satin and S+ cost more and can be accidentally removed if you aren’t careful.
And would there be a way to maybe remove it in the RSG lab if KP comes up for sell? If I can’t remove it I’ll save up for Kp2.

I don't have much experience with clones, but I think you can't remove it since technically her "parent" is the horse she was cloned from. Someone else correct me if I'm wrong though.ID 43830

I believe they aren't removable (KP, DP, GP), because they originally weren't testable (didn't show up in the horses Gene list), and therefore it wasn't a given if they did have it other than chestnuts being liver with sooty, etc. Like the fantasy genes. You also generally can't remove those when they come up (either in the RGS or GMT Lab).Love,

You can not remove expensive LE from the lab because of the amount of work it would cost me to fix all the times people would remove them on accident. :))Need to contact me? Read this first. Now, if you're worried about seeing the KP, you'll also see KP (1), even if you make the horse het KP2.Love,

Yes, i’m aware. However despite my dislike of KP, adding Kp2 is pretty low on my GMT goals for her, satin and another kit gene is higher on the list. So I’ll just see if I end up changing her to hom or het Kp2. :)

Golden Tokens have been renamed Diamond Tokens to prevent mixing them up with GMTs. Double boosted over cap horses are now designated as ****Star or ****Gold, again to prevent further member confusion issues I have been seeing.
