Egg/Embryo/Foal Giveaway!
  • I have quite a few mares I am super proud of but have not had much time to utilize their eggs since I am busy with schoolwork. So I thought I would do a giveaway to share them! The giveaway is open to everyone so please enter and encourage others to do the same. There are mares/stallions with both open and closed genes so there is a bit for everyone.

To enter: Post a description of your dream horse. Ideas to include- gender, color, discipline, training, age, height, personality, breed, etc. Feel free to include what you would name said horse and what you would do with the horse. Be creative! Doesn't even have to be real (if you want a purple horse go for it! :P ).
Also be sure to include your ID number and a link to the stallion you would like a straw from and the mare you would like eggs from if you win.

The prize: Three eggs from the mare of your choosing. If you do not have an upgraded account I am happy to send an embryo with the straw of your choosing (mine or your stud) or a foal with the stallion of your choosing (mine or yours). There will be five winners who will receive eggs, however, everyone who enters will win one straw (or breeding) from a stallion of your choosing.
Winners of eggs will be chosen at random on October 31. Straws will be sent out as people enter so be on the lookout.

    The mares: Mares for Giveaway

    The stallions: Stallions for Giveaway

Hope everyone enjoys this giveaway and have fun designing your dream horse!
  • My dream horse would be a paint warmblood or Welsh and I would want it to be from 14.1 to 16 hands. A mare or gelding. A Hunter/Jumper because that's the type of riding I do. I would want its personality to be like a goofball or a one that wants to always be around you. I would name it depending on the horse personality and color but here's a few I like Connect the dots, Jelly bean ( for a pony), Half A Mile and Smore's ( also for a pony). Id 52125. Thanks! :)

Here is my dream horse.. high contrasted blue roan Or buttermilk buckskin, very built QH gelding at 5yo, 16.3hh, fully trained in barrels (would be a push type), cutting, and steer wrestling, would primarily use him in barrels, but right now I’ve been “off horse” bulldogging my yearlings that get out (has been happening a lot more recently) so trying the real thing might be fun!
For his personality I would love for him to be an old soul and calm, cool, and collected, but also brave and adventurous. May not have been there and done that, but will go there and do that like he owns it! Would like him to be an in your pocket, puppy type. Will follow you around the field while just doing your thing.
Might name him Quervo, Cutter, or Jordy

Would like a straw/egg from these two :)

  • Thank you so much to my first two entries! Both your participatory straws have been sent. Loving your dream horse descriptions! :x
  • My dream horse is actually a real horse. I met her a few years ago. Her name was Abby. Abbys owner (We will call her Sue) at the time really did not know how to properly care for a horse. She also had two boys who were very mean. They would throw rocks at Abby and do things that frightened the poor horse very much. I had just met Sue and had only been invited to visit a handful of times before and after she got Abby. I felt bad for the horse however even though I knew she was not properly cared for, her living conditions were not bad enough to get any type of rescue attempt sent for her. From what I was told Abby was a "difficult horse" and the owner had a hard time getting her to allow a rider. I was not extremely educated in horses but I felt a connection with that horse. I knew her only issue was her living conditions. I tried to visit every moment I could bringing her treats and softly talking to her. One day she saw my jeep and ran to the fence calling to me! That day I asked to ride her. She was flawless! She did everything I asked of her with a happy skip and her head high! Not long after the owner put Abby up for sale. I didnt have money to buy her but I wished with all my heart that I could. Abby was sold within a month and I never saw her again. My dream horse is Abby! I want no other horse as bad as I want her. Here in this game I found out about the Axiom x gene and I love it the best sense I am allowed to have it and its really cool! My player ID is 51992
  • @Tennessee That's such a sweet story. I hope you are able to see her again. Make sure to link to the mare and stallion you would like straw/eggs from. :)
    Thanked by 1TennesseeRain2
  • My dream horse is a tall grulla mustang stallion trained in show jumping. His personality would be playful, loving, adventurous, and always up for anything. His name would probably be Tornado, but that doesn’t sound like a very good horse name and I’m stumped.

If I win, I would like eggs from this gal:

Okay, onto the fun stuff cause I'm sure to forget to link horses if I don't do it first lol.
My dream horse...my dream horse... I'd absolutely love a big ol off track quarter horse gelding. He'd be about 16.3, ya know, tall enough you gotta have those 3 little hops with 1 foot in the stirrup before you have all the momentum needed to carry your butt up to your saddle.(okay maybe I'm super outta shape lol) He'd be wide as a truck too, I'm talkin thicker than a snicker y'all, with that big ol quarter horse bootay. Not too fat thick, just naturally a chonk, the kinda big fella that'll ride your small kids around 3-4 at a time, and has the demeanor to do it cause he loves them little hellions more than he loves his groceries. He'd act like a big goofy puppy, always wanting scratches, cookies, and lovins. The type where if he ever got out the pasture you'd not have to worry cause that dude's coming to find you! He'd be just as laid back and level headed as they come, but still have the getup and get gone an adult needs to know they have a true, REAL hoss under them. Like, we all cool right now, but if a big bad critter pops out the woods, this dude will carry yo butt to safety lickety split. He'd be a been there, done that, got the t-shirt kinda gelding, and even if he ain't done it you'll never know cause this dude got a poker face, and a fake it til ya make it attitude on everything he tries. He'd be a sorrel, and shine in the sun like a new copper penny, with a big ol white blaze on his face and two high whites on his Hinds. I'd call him Pokey, cause it's bad luck to change a horses barn name and that's the one he came with. Plus, who don't want to ride a retired race horse named Pokey...oh wait, he's out in my pasture right now.
My Dad offered me Pokey in March a few months after I lost my heart horse Gracie from old age. I told my dad I'd just try him out, but I was still hurting cause Gracie was my soul. I've only had just a few geldings in my life that I really got along with, preferring mares, so I didn't figure he would stay. Being as he was the last living relative of Gracie's,(nephew) and was pretty much a spitting image of her though, I tried him out. He hasn't left, and I couldn't be happier with my big guy. He is truly a dream to be around.

  • @Windigo I absolutely love your description of your big guy! It has made me fall in love with him without even meeting him! :x
  • @CoppiLane aww thanks! Not even sure if I can do this right but I'll try to Link a pic of him lol

  • @Windigo ooooh that face! Can see the love and goofiness in his big beautiful eyes!
  • @Windigo Love the story! And the picture. He is adorable! I have a chonk of a paint horse myself so I am quite partial to the big boodies! :P Sending your straw from Coffea over now. Thanks for entering!
  • Thanks y'all, he's such a sweetheart. @PaintedDreaams, lol, we have 3 chonky paints here as well. My little boy's mare Dandi, she's such an old grouch, but she sure takes care of him. And her sister Ladyhawk, who I can put just about anyone on for a ride. And I'm "babysitting" my dad's big gelding Buddy for him, but I kind of suspect Buddy is just living here now lol. He's been here since spring and is just tempting my husband by being here with no job. Buddy is a spoiled rotten brat that thinks he's the boss, and my husband is so wanting to straighten his attitude out. Personally, I believe the two would be the perfect pair, like ya know, gasoline and matches lol. He's such a sweet angel on the ground and most of the time under saddle, but when he decides he's going to buck, there's just no changing his mind about it. My dad is getting to old to be on one that's broncy, and can't have a nice ride if he's expecting a rodeo, so I think he's trying to hunt buddy a new home.

My dream horse would be a combination of the horse I own and the one I work with. I own a 12hh super gamey flaxen chestnut pony. He has a huge personality. I would love to take his personality and his conformation in the hind end and put it on my work horse. My work horse is a petite black friesian cross. This boy is super sweet but shy. He is a driving horse, but for my dream horse I'd have him be a 3de because that is what I ride and enjoy.

  • @Montesque Thanks for entering! I've sent over you straw from Challah.
  • Still open! I would love to hear about others dream horse.
  • My dream horse would likely be a gelding, not a bombproof one in that he doesn't react to things ever but he would have to be somewhat calm haha. He wouldn't be taller than 16.2hh (which is pushing it for me lol) and he'd have LOTS of chrome (maybe one of the white spotting Kit genes??) and a thick mane and tail. I'm not sure what his base coat color would be, but I've always been partial to blacks and roans on any base so potentially one of those. It would be super cool if he had the basics down training-wise, but then I could finish him as it were to be an all around horse -- barrels, eventing, hopefully everything lol. Breed-wise, I do love Mustangs and Thoroughbreds, but I could honestly see him being anything as long as it fits with the other criteria.

Thank you for hosting this! I only have a Basic upgrade so I won't be able to use eggs, but my ID is 51729! I'd love a foal from the two below if I won~

My dream horse would be a Lusitano or Andalusian crossed with a good solid foundation Quarter Horse. I'd want to have the range of shoulder movement, the higher neck set, and the Baroque head of the Spanish influence combined with the wide frame, shorter back, and solid hips of the quarter horse. I'd love a bay dun with no white and lots of dun factor. Ideally it would be a 2-3yo filly so that I could do the training myself. I'd train her for western dressage, but with enough versatility that we could do ranch shows as well. She would be of high enough quality for me to feel comfortable breeding her to another Spanish-influenced stud.

I miss having horses in my back yard, and if I had the yard for it again this is what I wish lived there. A tall, chonky buckskin, with just a hint of an appy blanket and giant goose egg spots that sprinkle across his back as he gets older. I also wish that plaid was a real thing cause I absolutely love the gift-wrapped look.

He'd be a middle-aged gelding with a great personality. He'd like working when he has too, but mostly just trailing around and seeing what I'm up to. The amount of I want a buggy is high. I'd love to watch him lead me around town.

I own the dream horse that I dreamed about since I was little girl.
But I have been dreaming of a draft. Big beautiful blue roan with a gentleman soul. I like the double mane and heavy feathers. Not to tall. Maybe 16hh. He got to be thick!
  • Finished! Thank you all for entering! I will send participatory straws to our last few entries and will have the results shortly. :)
  • Congratulations to the winner HTRanch!

The number from the random number generator is 8 and our eighth entry is HTRanch! I will pm you with details. Thank you to everyone who entered.

Just for fun, here is my dream horse!
Bright, blood bay German Warmblood gelding. Big blaze and four white socks. I'm tall so I would love him to be big bodied and 17hh. Preferably around 4 years old and started under saddle and jumping small jumps. I would love to bring him up the ranks myself so nothing too "finished". Also needs to be freakishly talented, prospect for the big (1.60m) jumpers and extremely brave and eager to the jumps. Would love him to be a fancy enough mover to cross over into the hunters and equitation classes, a true three ring horse! I love a goofy personality, wants to be a part of the action and loves attention but still respectful of boundaries.

I loved reading about everyone's dream horse. Every one was so different but they all sounded like fabulous horses. :D
