I've had a really horrible month. -vent warning-
-
I know right now the world is going through a lot, and I really don't have the right to complain. But his month has truly been really horrible. The doctors think they have FINALLY (I know I'm not supposed to use caps but this really does warrant it) settled on a diagnosis after working on one since 2008 (hence the caps). Crohn's plus gastroparesis. Which they didn't even know was possible until 2015. I have other health issues on top of that, but those are two of the major ones, and they work against each other. I won't go into what that means.
I lost my best friend this week. My cat of 14 years. My literal teddy bear. He's been by my side since he was a kitten. Sleeping in my arms, on my head, or my legs the whole time. I can't sleep without him purring.
My mother-in-law died in 2012 from breast cancer this month, the same day they found my lump. I'm fine on that front and I'm so thankful. But I miss her so much. She was amazing. She never complained. She took care of her mother and her boyfriend until the day the day my husband had to put her in the hospital. She was the most amazing person I have ever known.
And now the world today. I live in Florida. We hit yet another record today, 9500 cases. My entire family is high risk, yet my 13 year old daughter is expected to go back to school in 4 weeks.
I'm overwhelmed.Thanked by 1Looper -

Thank you. :x
I'm starting to get used to my new diet, but it's not easy by a long shot.
I miss my cat. His sister is looking for him, and isn't quite herself. It took her a few days to come and snuggle with me again. She's now glued to me, which is unusual for her. He was 6 years older than her, so raised her from a kitten.
I'm honestly just trying to distract myself however possible.
