I'm starting to learn how to identify DP and I think this girl has it? What do you think?

Yeah, she's at least het, possibly hom. She's hom Ssty, and liver, so that would mean there's at least one copy of DP there.Home of Big N' Bruised and Shine High Bootstraps

Definitely het DP, if she was Hom DP she would look more black than the chocolaty tint she has going on.

Gene Guide Update!
The sunshine gene, previously known only from one line of Standardbreds has been discovered in a TWH. The gene guide has been updated with this new information. Sunshine may be much wider spread than originally thought.1/27/2026 3:58 AM EST
