    She's one of my Secret Santa babies. I gave her a 5% boost because she came out of B/red papered parents and papered yellow. The other mare I got improved with boosting and papered red. She is still yellow. I'm trying to decide if I will skip boosting the yellow papered colt I got and breed him with her with a pasture boost in time and see if their foals do better.

    Has anyone bred a filly that they boosted and still couldn't get the paper they wanted? Wondering what her foal's chances could be after 5% boost and still yellow.

    Ouch! Even with 5% she was still yellow. I would say you should comp test her against a perfect foundation or a yellow papered RS to see how she comps. Honestly, idk what to say to do with her :/

    Thanks @FallenShadows714! She was AGA one of my Yule Logs which would take 2% to boost to Red. I think I'll still try a 2% boost on the colt. I won't do 5% again. He'll be a match for one or the other mare. I just might need to keep one of my C papered colts by Black Cherry next season to match with her. Not going to spay her out of hand right now. The mare she comp'ed with has given me a B-papered colt so maybe Thunder's line can catch up by Gen 4. :/

Gene Guide Update!

The sunshine gene, previously known only from one line of Standardbreds has been discovered in a TWH. The gene guide has been updated with this new information. Sunshine may be much wider spread than originally thought.

Our brand new gene guide can be found in the "Resources" section of the navigation, or by clicking underlined genes on the gene testing results. Right now only scientifically documented genes have been added but I look forward to adding all our other genes very soon.
