You have a very big range of mares in there, so that means you will likely have less intacts than if you matched the quality of the mares, and used a stallion with the same quality.

The best way to get intact foals is to breed like paper levels and have a full pasture bonus. Star to Gold, A to Blue, B to Red, C to Yellow. If you can narrow it down to higher A's to higher Blues, lower A's to lower Blues, etc, then you'll have a few more. I suggest using a 10 acre pasture for breeding. You can keep your mares in primary pasture, then move a few at a time to a 10 acre pasture with a similar quality stud for breeding. Of course if you are bootstrapping, you just turn off testing on the fillies (and colts) that you want to keep.

If you save up your hbs, sometimes you can get another player to buy a pasture in exchange for your hbs. ;)
