My handsome unidraft Jack The Wise is celebrating his 30th season on the Forest Server. He was one of my first memorable Foundation Rescue purchases, and certainly has stuck around the longest. Although he does not have descendants, and his greatest accomplishment in the show ring is making his competitors look better, he has fun. Each week, he plods around with the youthful whipper snappers, telling them stories about competing against their great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandparents. I will miss this cutie when he finally ambles off to horse afterlife.

Jack reminds me of a big old school horse who loves it when kids crawl all over him :)

I didn't raise this one. I picked him up in the auction back in February when he was already old enough to age out, but I thought he'd be worth the gamble for his show bonus. He's 25 now and still a boss in the show ring. He must be pretty feisty. :)

I had a really rough rollover that took most of my oldies with it, so my oldest now is Dun in Pearl. I think I picked her up as part of a giveaway. I've got four foals of hers (the others got auctioned, sorry sweet thing), including one filly that is doing nicely in my bootstrap herd, resulting in four grandfoals so far. She was going great in her shows until mid-July, when she pointed out of her amateur senior division and her arthritis started kicking in (I mean, I assume that must have been what happened).

this boy is not only my oldest, but my best show pony as of this month. i also picked him up knowing that he was at risk of passing this month, but to my surprise he didnt.

This is my oldest at 22. She was from a dark chestnut herd helper, I was undoubtedly looking for livers at the time and while I usually auction off those who show up as just regular chestnut this girl sneakily escaped my notice and managed to run off and join the show band when I wasn't looking hahaha. She even managed to win a few in her time and earned herself a permanent spot on the show team before retiring to a life of leisure- or so I imagine :D

These are my two oldest, both 25.

Peppermint Deep is a Bootstrap show pony with 2500 points,

And Banjo and Violin, named for The Audrey’s song and one of my anthems of my relationship with my husband, is a gen 2 GP herd filly who failed testing. She has not quite 2000 points.

I’m not sure it has longevity as much as there’s just a blue ton of them on the server and a few of them hit decent ages!
