This afternoon I did the first of my planned mergers. It went so slick, and the only thing lost was the smaller of the Hygge tack packs, cause I didn't find out until recently that tack packs don't move.

Pre-planning covered almost everything. I probably should have figured out one method for barn names though. I had two very different styles in play, and now need to sort that out... And go on a serious foundation cull.

My daily is over 50k!

I'm so excited, but doing a serious job on not opening the first search to start the cull.

I did a major merge a few months ago - it was great - good luck with the cull :)

How do I have so many mares? I knew my ratios were bad, but this is ridiculous. After tucking my pastures I still have 12 barns of intact girls... so much testing is in my future.

I had to delete so many horses because my barns were overfilled and my pastures were overfilled when I merged my accounts together.

I saved enough on the smaller account to buy the barn space I needed after the merge, but I'm looking at my 4 barn bootstrap herd and wondering if I should just clip all the red and yellow.

I'd likely do all of the yellows first, see if that helps you any. If it doesn't, then I'd go through and do your least favorite reds. If that still doesn't help, keep going from there.
