    I have two gorgeous foundation mares, and I want to make one Homozygous Mushroom. I *could* just do both, but that's a lot of money, haha.
    So I want to get your opinion!! Here's the girls:

    If I'm not mistaken, mushroom, like chinchilla, only works on red pigment (chestnuts), so keep that in mind!

    I would do het. on both. But that's just me. They can only do one copy to a foal at a time anyway. w2 is sometimes lethal so that's something to consider too. But both are beautiful mares!

Gene Guide Update!

The sunshine gene, previously known only from one line of Standardbreds has been discovered in a TWH. The gene guide has been updated with this new information. Sunshine may be much wider spread than originally thought.

Our brand new gene guide can be found in the "Resources" section of the navigation, or by clicking underlined genes on the gene testing results. Right now only scientifically documented genes have been added but I look forward to adding all our other genes very soon.
