I just need this colt out of two grulla Appaloosa drafts. How did he end up being red dun? I thought Grulla was black with the sun gene. -
What a cutie! Both parents are heterozygous black (Ee). Because black is dominant over red, EE, eE, or Ee will show as black. He had a 25% chance of a red genotype (ee).Looking for Appaloosas? Check out my Riata account.
