@HunterUnderSaddleGirl, if AHayesHorses doesn't want that sabino appy colt, I certainly do. Lol He'd be a terrific outcross for my boot lines.

@HunterUnderSaddleGirl most of my sabino 2 stock is bootstrapped from Dark Star's sport pony lines, but I get the occasional riding horse from them like this girl.

Another idea might be to look for sires that have thrown multiple 13.5+ foals, and buy one of them (or an AGA or StS colt of one of them), if you can't find any PT higher than your own, since PT of foals is loosely related to breeding ability of parents (but not at all related to the breeding ability of the horse themselves).

A horse that has thrown high PT, even if their own PT is a bit lower, will be more likely to get you higher PT foals than a horse that has a high PT but has thrown more (relatively) low PTs.

Of course, AFPT is also going to be altered by the mares, so try and pull your own averages from only the higher gold mares they've been bred to.

You can also compare his foal with a mare to the mare's AFPT - if it's higher than most others, he's a strong enough breeder to be pulling their average up. That's a good sign for your own attempts at high PT.
