Buying sasa Blue or Better Mares.

I am on the hunt for more homozygous Satin ladies to add to my breeding stock. In the interest of creating quality lines, I would like only Blue or better papered mares who have passed Breeding Advice.

My satin ladies are bootstrapped, so they wouldn't pass BA for that reason, but as for breeding quality I can guarantee they're good - paper level aka breeding quality doesn't in any way get altered by whether they're BA passed or not - and you could always BA the foals if you matched papers (which is what it sounds like you're doing anyways).

Gene Guide Update!
The sunshine gene, previously known only from one line of Standardbreds has been discovered in a TWH. The gene guide has been updated with this new information. Sunshine may be much wider spread than originally thought.1/27/2026 3:58 AM EST
